Wongsawang is a strategic location linking central and western Bangkok. As the Thai capital’s locale with the most future development plans, Wongsawang will not only serve as Thailand’s new regional centre but also ASEAN’s largest transportation hub. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from the New CBD, Asoke-Ratchada, Wongsawan is easy to travel to and from via all modes of transport. It is also in the vicinity of a number of universities, hospitals and state-owned enterprises. Just Two train stops from Taopoon Interchange, Wongsawang links directly to Bangkok’s Blue MRT Line, which runs to Chatuchak, Sukhumvit and Silom. The connecting Purple MRT Line also provides easy access to public buses, piers, and the motorway. With the expansion of several train lines in 2019, which will circle inner Bangkok and extend as far as Don Mueang Airport, Wongsawang will offer even greater convenience.

In addition to the already popular mega department store Central Westgate, Wongsawan will soon have its own IKEA and Digital Gateway, expected to open by the end of 2018. In 2019, Thailand’s new Parliament House will also complete construction nearby. The following year, the new Bangsue Grand Central Station will open just three stations away, replacing Hua Lamphong station as Thailand’s main transportation hub. It will be the largest railway station in Southeast Asia, accommodating the upcoming Thai-China high-speed rail and numerous businesses and commercial projects. Land prices along the Purple MRT Line increased 35% between 2011 and 2015. Condominium prices in the area are also expected to rise significantly after the completion of Bangsue Central Station. Rental yield is supported by the enormous rental demand of high-paid workers in the area, which presents an attractive opportunity for international investors.
